PRE-PROFESSIONAL TRAINING PRODUCTION
TWO CASTS: Green Cast ages 12yrs+, Black+White Cast ages 9-13yrs
IN PERSON AUDITIONS- November 18th and 19th ( Video Submission auditions also being accepted thru December 15th) 

Rehearsals begin January 27th/28th. Performances in April 2025.

Magic Treehouse-Pirates Past Noon KIDS winter/spring production is a training production for children ages 5-12yrs. Children will learn acting, staging, voice, dance and performance skills as we prepare a 45 minute production. 

ALL registered students will receive a part! NO experience necessary! There are parts for all experience levels!

TWO AGE GROUPS!
  • Jr group ages 7-12yrs Tuesdays 1:45-4:15pm
  • Theatre KidZ group ages 4-7yrs Tuesdays 1:45-2:30pm 

AUDITIONS
  • Theatre KidZ:   NO AUDITION! 
  • Juniors: IN-PERSON AUDITION November 19th 2:00-3:00pm. 
  • Juniors- DO YOU HAVE A STUDENT NEW TO AUDITIONING OR A STUDENT WITH HIGH ANXIETY ABOUT AUDITIONING? Not to worry- in place of audition, please attend a Meet & Greet on November 19th 1:30-2:00pm.

Performing Arts Classes for Home Schoolers

Check out AWH’s NEW! Home schoolers PERFORMING ARTS training and production classes!
PERFORMING ARTS training and production classes for Home Schoolers include:
- a variety of performing arts training classes in acting, improv, voice, special Fx make up, costuming, stage set and design, theater/scripts/Broadway history and two-three productions
- During fall/winter/spring productions - weekly classes will be used for production rehearsals
- outside of productions - weekly class will be used for training classes and classes with special guest teaching artists.
  • ologue, dramatic irony, blocking, staging, masking, volume, projection, staging
  • Character Development via 5 W’s method
  • Character Development: objective( what does character want from other characters/situation/goal), purpose ( what is character’s purpose in scene/storyline/arc), motivation ( what motivates character), obstacles( what is in way of character getting what want and approaches to obtaining what want)
